The Story and a Little More

Thomason Arts has grown from the fundamental idea of creating artwork directly linked to our Catholic faith, the cultural heritage of our lives, and beauty by representing a “New Regionalism.” Our mission is to create and share beauty through our artwork, teach on beauty, truth and goodness, and live beauty through educational opportunities and community life. Our artwork is influenced by our faith, our cultural roots, our shared traditions, nature, and the desire to live out beauty with passion by collaborating and supporting those we encounter. The subjects of our artwork depict a variety of religious and nonreligious work. We believe our artwork proposes in the heart of the American West an invitation to support, appreciate, and create artwork with American sensibilities of faith, culture, tradition, and beauty. We are working to bring about an artistic revival where we live through continued collaboration, supporting local commerce and communal sustainability with personal encounters. We believe that this “New Regionalism'' is fertile ground for beauty, art, and culture to flourish.
